For Robert Kiyosaki the picture is clear: forget about stocks! It is a clear message that Kiyosaki underlines in his latest book ‘Second Chance'. ‘Cash will become trash', is what the writer states.
The future of the dollar does not look bright, according to Kiyosaki, which translates to a better future for gold. The gold bug foresees an oncoming storm for many currencies and he also expects the euro to collapse. If the euro collapses, the dollar will follow quickly in his opinion…
Own Gold
Kiyosaki himself has invested a part of his portfolio in gold for when – as he expects himself – the dollar, the yen, the euro, and the pound collapse. He is not invested in gold because he views it as an investment, but because it is a way to hedge against future currency problems.
Kiyosaki mostly advises investors to steer away from stocks. He does find debt a great investment. In his view people are being taught that debt is bad, but he pays that debt back with cheap dollars.
